The Da Nang People’s Committee has approved to grant 14.4 billion VND from the city budget to promote the tourism sector during this year.

Focus will be on enhancing the quality of the tourism services, developing such tourism products as eco- and rural tourism, and sightseeing boat tours, and tightening the State management of accommodation establishments, travel activities and tourism sites. 

Furthermore, heed will be paid to promoting the publicity of the tourism in the mass media.

Besides, effective measures will be taken to promote the city’s participation into tourism fairs at home and abroad, and the reception for a large number of famtrip delegations from dometic and foreign travel and media agencies.

Notably, the city’s representative offices will be establish at 2 major foreign tourist markets, namely China and South Korea, whilst bilateral tourism cooperation programmes with other domestic and foreign localities will be accelerated in the coming months.

Last, but not least, greater efforts will be made to develop human resources for the tourism sector, and help staff members from tourism service providers enhance their professional skills.
