Bustling working atmosphere after Tet break
On Wednesday, (the 6th day of the 1st lunar month), Da Nang-based businesses resumed their normal operations after the week-long Tet break. Their employees overcame the lingering holiday mentality, the appeal of festivals, temple visits and spring tours to go back to their work.

An enthusiastic working atmosphere was seen at the Da Nang Hi-tech Park on the 1st working day after the holiday. Getting back to work in a disciplined manner aimed to bring substantive results right from the beginning of the Lunar New Year.
The Japan-invested Tokyo Keiki Precision Technology company at the Park held an informal meeting to allow their staff members to extend Tet wishes to one another before resuming their work.
Likewise, another Japan-invested firm at the same venue, the Niwa Foundry company, also welcomed over 90% of its total workers back to work on time after the Tet break.
In a similar vein, a total of over 1,500 workers (or 100%) of the Da Nang Rubber Company also resumed their work on the same day.
Notably, disciplined working atmosphere was recorded at the Lien Chieu District-based Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong company as 95% of its workers went back to work on Wednesday. The remaining ones were given some extra days off for Tet by their employers due to their unexpected illness, and have not yet returned to work.
Mr Mai Thuy, a worker from the Research and Development (R & D) Division of the company, said he is very eager to resume his work because he has an emotional attachment to his favourite job there.
On Thursday, Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong embarked upon creating a total of 14 tourist boats for use in Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City, and this is considered to be the company’s postive start to the lunar new year, reflecting a new vitality and a new determination.
A total of 300 employees of the A Chau Architecture and Trading Co Ltd were also happy and eager to meet one another again, and re-start their work after the holiday.
A Chau is the leading company in the papermaking and packaging industry in Central Viet Nam.

The top priority is being given to increasing the company’s revenue by 20% by the end of this year, promoting technological innovations in a bid to enhance its product quality, and recruiting 500 new workers.
Like other local businesses, the Tien Sa Port-based Hai Son Shipbuilding and Repair Company of the renowned Song Thu Corporation, on Thursday, launched a ceremony for saluting the national flag and starting the implementation of production and business emulation movements.
Hai Son is now one of the largest shipbuilding and repair companies in the central region. All of the company’s employees are making joint efforts to fulfill their assigned tasks so as to promote their firm’s progress through the year.
Importance is being attached to maintaining the repair and technical maintenance of Vietnamese naval and Coast Guard ships, along with commercial ones from domestic and foreign customers.
