342,992 visitors expected to arrive in city during upcoming public holidays
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the city is likely to welcome a total of 342,992 visitors over the 4-day holiday period between 28 April and 1 May for the National Reunification Day (30 April) and International Labour Day (1 May), up 10.2% against the same period last year.

Of this figure, the number of foreigners is expected to increase by 28.8% to hit 108,930, whilst that of domestic visitors is likely to go up by 3.2% to 234,062. The majority of domestic tourists come from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, whilst foreigners are mainly from such Northeast Asian countries as South Korea, China and Japan.
During the 4-day holiday break, the number of domestic and foreign visitors booking tours through local travel agencies is predicted to rise by 2% to 10,450, and to climb by 21.9% to hit 12,420, respectively.
As for accommodation services, the average room occupancy rates in 4 and 5-star hotels are expected to be between 75% and 80%, and the average length of visitor stays in these hotels is likely to be 2 days. The number of foreigners staying at these hotels is predicted to make up between 65% and 70% of the total.
In 3-star hotels, tourist villas and condotels, the average room occupancy rates are likely to range from 60% to 65%, with the average length of visitor stays in these venues is likely to be 2 days. Meanwhile, in 1 and 2-star hotels, the figures are predicted to be up to 50%, and up to 2.5 days, respectively.
