In recent years, Viet Nam has emerged as an attractive destination for South Korean tourists, according to tour operators.
More than 2.4 million South Koreans in total visited Viet Nam in 2017, up 56.4% year-on-year. In the first 3 months of 2018, Viet Nam welcomed 900,000 South Korean tourists. Thus, South Korea has become a major market for Viet Nam. Tour operators predict that the number of South Korean visitors to Viet Nam, especially to the central region, will continue to grow in future.
