In detail, one will be set up on an area of 261,000m2 in Hoa Khuong Commune, whilst the other, covering an area of 245,000m2, will be located in Hoa Phu Commune, along the banks of the Tuy Loan River.
The municipal Construction Planning Institute will be in charge of making clear boundary statements to direct the things that are applicable to those areas within the scope of these hi-tech farming zones, conducting land use and technical infrastructure planning, and other related assigned tasks.
Last year, the municipal government gave the green light to the development of 7 hi-tech agricultural projects, covering a total area of over 500ha in the city.
More recently, the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has asked for help from the city authorities to facilitate the National Centre for Agricultural Extension to develop a hi-tech agricultural production model in Da Nang, the most typical of its kind in the south-central coastal region in the coming time.
