The carriages were built using high-quality materials and advanced technology to ensure they are more stable, sound-proof, and fire-proof, with their waste treatment system meeting hygienic standards.
Along with the traditional 4-bed and 6-bed cabins, each of the new overnight carriages now come with a couple of VIP 2-bed cabins. The VIP cabins have larger and more comfy beds, and passengers choosing this service can enjoy free beverages and meals.
From 9 July, the new carriages will be part of the 5-star SE1 and SE2 trains operating on the Hanoi-Da Nang route, said a VNR representative.
To date, the VNR have built and put into use 60 carriages of this type.
