4 more industrial clusters to be created

Amongst 45 key projects which are funded by Da Nang’s budget, 4 new industrial clusters (ICs) will be created in the city in the near future. They are the Cam Le, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Khanh Nam and Hoa Hiep Bac ICs.

In detail, the 29.1ha Cam Le ICs will be set up in Cam Le District at the cost of 254.8 billion VND.

Developed and managed by the Cam Le District authorities, the project is divided into 2 phases. The first phase of the project will be implemented during the 2018 – 2020 period at the cost of 155.4 billion VND, whilst the second phase will be deployed between 2021 and 2022 at 99.4 billion VND.

As for the 24.7ha Hoa Nhon IC, 15ha will be earmarked for building factories, offices, production and business establishments, whilst the remaining area of 9.5ha will be used for building traffic infrastructure and pavements.

In early September, the municipal People’s Committee gave the green light for spending nearly 47 billion VND on implementing site clearance and compensation work over the 2018 - 2020 period.

Currently, the municipal Department of Planning and Investment is developing plans for creating the 11.8ha Hoa Khanh Nam and 14.5ha Hoa Hiep Bac ICs in Lien Chieu District.

The Institute of Planning and Construction will complete these project-related procedures in order to submit them to the municipal People’s Committee for approval.
