Adjustments approved for land auctions at Software Park No 2

The Da Nang People’s Committee has approved adjustments for the use of a 53,025m2 land lot at the 1st stage of the Software Park No 2 project in Hai Chau District’s Thuan Phuoc Ward which will be offered for lease by auction in the coming time.

Technical infrastructure has already completed on the soon-to-be auctioned site which has facades onto Nhu Nguyet Street and the approach road to the Thuan Phuoc Bridge.

This vacant land site is being offering for residential, commercial, and service purposes. In detail, 1,476m2 of land has been approved as residential purpose for the construction of apartment buildings, whilst 27,614m2 of land is for the commercial and service purposes, including a 4,156m2 parking area.

The successful bidder is required to conduct maintenance of such public works as parks, trees, and drainage system.

Residential land, which will be offered for lease by auction, will be handed over to successful bidder, whilst one-off payment for the whole 50-year lease term is required for the use of commercial and service land.

Foreign-invested businesses and domestic economic organisations, which have documents proving their legal status, will be eligible for the auction.

In particular, bidders are required to make commitments to use the land for the right purposes, and implement the construction work in line with of the approved design dossiers, and ensure the on-scheduled construction progress and its quality as well.

Also, tenders must represent their deployment roadmap for their projects and pledge to complete the construction of facilities for producing and trading in IT products and its related services no later than 3 years since the date of winning bid at the auction.

Any transfers of the project will be not allowed within 5 years, from the issuance date of the investment certificate.

The municipal Property Auction Service Centre will take responsibility for implementing the auction. The land lot will be handed over immediately after full payment has been received from successful bidder. The auctioning revenues will go to the city budget.
