469 million US$ worth of investment to be poured into city

At the upcoming ‘Talk of Spring’ programme, which is scheduled to take place in Da Nang on Friday, the municipal government will grant investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates to 8 projects worth over 469 million US$ in total.

Notable amongst the projects is the 170 million US$ Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing project which will be developed by the Universal Alloy Corporation Asia Pte. LTD-UAC at the Da Nang Hi-tech Park.

UAC supplies aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors worldwide, and it has served the aircraft industry for over four decades.

The expansion of the existing Xuan Thieu Tourist Area in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Hiep Nam Ward will be developed by the Japan-based Katsura Hotel Mikazuki Co.,Ltd at a cost of 100 million US$.

Over 56 million US$ will be poured into a riverside tower project in Hai Chau District’s Binh Thuan Ward by the Sun Frontier Investment Co., Ltd. 

TCIE Vietnam Company, a member of Malaysia’s Tan Chong Motor Group, will carry out the expansion of the Nissan Automobile factory in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park at a cost of 50 million US$.

The company plans to produce 5,100 cars with an estimate contribution of 110 million USD to the city’s budget in 2019.

TCIE also plans to produce Nissan vans and Nissan trucks in the near future.

An electronic equipment manufacturing and assembly factory, worth 50 million US$, will be deployed by KeyTronicEMS, a leading electronic contract manufacturer based in Spokane Valley, WA.
The Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd will deploy a 30 million US$ electronic components factory expansion project in the city.

As for the remaining projects, there will be the construction of a 7 million US$ factory exhaust pipe manufacturing factory developed by the Hao Hsing Investment Co., Ltd and a 6 million US$ automobile manufacturing and assembling factory by the Gaz Thanh Dat Limited Liability Company.

In addition, the city has approved the research into the implementation of 13 other projects totalling more than 3.6 billion US$, thereby creating a breakthrough in the city’s investment attraction this year.
