Enthusiastic working atmosphere after Tet

A bustling working atmosphere was seen at Da Nang-based businesses on the first working day after the 9-day Tet holiday break.

On 11 February (the 7th day of the 1st lunar month), over 4,500 workers of the 29-3 Textiles and Garments Company resumed their normal production activities after Tet.

Mr Nguyen Huu Vinh, the Head of the company’s Finance and Planning Office, said that his company has already received orders from its traditional customers through until the end of the year. Therefore, all the workers have to exert their efforts to complete orders as scheduled.

He added his company is targeting to open more suit factories, seek its partners, and expand its consumption markets this year.

Also on the same day, an enthusiastic working atmosphere was reported at the city branch of the TCIE Vietnam Company in Lien Chieu District.

According to the company’s leaders, their company has set its 2019 goals of over 2,500 billion VND in revenue, contributing 1,300 billion VND to the city’s budget, a rise of 300 billion VND against 2018.

Also on 11 February, leaders of the Da Nang Power Company held an informal meeting to extend Tet wishes to their staff members and identify new tasks this year before resuming their work.

Mr Ngo Tan Cu, the Company’s Director, remarked like previous years his employees were actively involved in doing maintenance work on the city’s electrical infrastructure systems in order to ensure sufficient electricity supplies for local residents’ daily lives, as well as agriculture and industry, especially during the Tet Festival.

“Last year, my company’s power output reached more than 2.9 billion kWh, up 4.35% compared with the same period 2017. Meanwhile, electricity losses were only 3%, which was 0.22% lower than that of 2017. In addition, levels of customers’ satisfaction with the company’s services were significantly improved. This is considered as a great motivation for us to continue enhancing the quality of production and services to serve local residents, enterprises and organisations better” Mr Cu underlined.

Likewise, the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading JSC welcomed 100% of its total workers back to work on time after the Tet break.  

Talking about this year’s targets, Mr Tran Van Linh, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, said his company is planning to expand its water surface of shrimp farming area from 70ha to 150ha, and building a production factory.

On Tuesday morning, numerous customers performed various bank transactions at the Nam Hai Van branch of the Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV).

Meanwhile, dozens of employees of the Dac Vinh Company were busy loading cartons of fresh meat and vegetables into lorries to transport to collective kitchens.

The company’s Director Pham Dac Vinh remarked 100% of his workers also resumed their work on the same day. He emphasised this year his company would continue its efforts to ensure food safety and hygiene, and enhance transport services to optimise the costs and efficiency.
