Foreign investment welcomed in the city's 16 key projects

Currently, Da Nang is appealing for foreign direct investment (FDI) into 16 local key projects in 2019.

These projects include the 52,600m2 Software Park No 2 in Hai Chau District’s Thuan Phuoc Ward at a cost of 91.6 million USD, a 46ha area for extracurricular activities combining with eco-tourism in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Bac Commune at a cost of 10 million USD, and a 15 million USD, 20 ha Pegasus university project in Ngu Hanh Son District's Hoa Quy Ward.

In addition, FDI investment is welcomed in a 5 million USD international general clinic which covers an area of 3,262m2 and borders Chu Huy Man, Ly Dao Thanh and Tran Khat Chan streets in Son Tra District, as well as the 4 million USD Da Nang SC Hospital in Ngu Hanh Son District.

Appeals for FDI are being encouraged for the construction of a racecourse and a horse training and breeding centre in Hoa Vang District at a total cost of 200 million USD, plus the 5 million USD synthetic rubber production project and the 10 million USD carbon fiber production project both at the city’s High-Tech Park.

The remaining 7 projects whose investment capital has yet to be determined comprise producing animal feed in Loc My Village, Hoa vang District’s Hoa Bac Commune, constructing a smart apartment building at the FPT urban area, manufacturing fire extinguishers and low voltage electric motors at the Hi-Tech Park, producing animal feed from fresh leftover at the Khanh Son Waste Dump, as well as building a cultural park in Ngu Hanh Son District and a financial, casino and resort complex at the intersection of Vo Van Kiet and Vo Nguyen Giap streets in Son Tra District.
