US enterprise registers to pour 87 million USD into the city

According to a spokesperson for the Da Nang People’s Committee office, the USA-based Alton Industry Company has registered to invest over 87 million USD into building a factory specialising in manufacturing air compressors and robot vacuum cleaners in the Hi-tech Park.

A representative from the US company said that he was very impressed by the city’s open and transparent investment environment and its preferential policies for foreign investors.

He also expressed his satisfaction at the commitment of the local authorities about facilitating the implementation of their investment procedures in a quick and convenient manner.

Besides, the Da Nang leaders have urged relevant agencies to grant an investment registration certificate for the Alton Industry Company before 30 April in a bid to ensure the construction progress of the project soon.

So far this year, Da Nang has attracted 3 large projects in total from US enterprises.

In addition to the above-mentioned project, the remanding projects are the 170 million USD Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing project which will be developed by the Universal Alloy Corporation Asia Pte. LTD-UAC at the Da Nang Hi-tech Park, and the 70 million USD electronic equipment manufacturing and assembly factory project by the US Key Tronic EMS Group.

To date, the city has attracted 56 US-funded projects with a total investment capital of nearly 850 million USD.
