Many of the city's popular attractions were crowded with locals and visitors.
In particular, the Marble Mountains Tourist Area in Ngu Hanh Son District received over 20,000 tourists during the public holiday, up 5% compared with the same period last year.
Mr Nguyen Van Hien, Head of the Management Board of the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, said effective measures had been taken to ensure the safety of visitors during the holiday.
Being one of the city’s must-visit places, the Ba Na Hills hosted a total of 52,600 visitors, a rise of 45.6% against 2018, during recent public holiday.
Mr Trieu Thinh, Deputy Executive Director of the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, said his tourist site welcomed a daily average of around 3,000 tourists, doubling that of normal days, because this year's Hung Kings' death anniversary felt on the weekend.
In addition, various attractive games for teams were launched, including a fun puzzle game about dinosaurs, playing football in mud, and going fishing in mud.

During that period, around 3,200 people visited the Museum of Da Nang. Of this figure, over 2,200 were domestic and foreign tourists, whilst the remainder were local residents, pupils, and students.
Thanks to the good weather and reasonable prices, tourist boats carried between 2,500 and 3,000 passengers every day.
As for accommodation services, the average room occupancy rates in 3 to 5-star hotels in the city were between 50% and 60%, while large seaside hotels had higher occupancy rates.
Mrs Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, Head of the Management Board of the Han Market, remarked during the 3-day holiday break this inviting market saw up to 5% jump in the number of visitors. The market’s best-selling products were fashionable items, handicraft products, and fresh and dried seafood.
The city’s BigC Mall also received a large number of shoppers, especially those from such neighbouring localities as Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Binh.
