Investment welcomed into 10 city transport infrastructure projects
The Da Nang Department of Transportation has announced a list of 10 Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects involved in transport sector for attracting domestic and FDI inflows.
Most notable are a feasible project on building a intelligent traffic controlling and monitoring system in the city, and another one on constructing a tramway route connecting Da Nang and Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City.
In addition, investment is being encouraged for the development of public bicycle rental service in the city, and the building of the Lien Chieu Port.
Appeals for investment are also being made for parking areas each at 166 Hai Phong, the 2nd stage of a 6-storey parking garage construction at 255 Phan Chau Trinh in Hai Chau District, and the A2 land lot on Nguyen Van Linh, along with parking sites at 10 Ly Thuong Kiet, 172 Nguyen Chi Thanh, 19 Le Hong Phong, 92 Dien Bien Phu, and the HC12 land lot on the western side of the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge.
Besides, parking areas will be constructed at the A1.1 land lot near the intersection of Pham Van Dong and Ngo Quyen streets, the A1.2 land lot near the intersection of Duong Dinh Nghe and Ngo Quyen, on Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc, the A16 land lot on Vo Van Kiet, and a vancant land lot near the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap and Phan Tu streets.
