Large-scale logistics centre opens in the city
On Thursday, the Logitem Vietnam Corporation officially opened its ‘Logitem Da Nang’ logistics centre in the city.

In his remarks at the event, Mr Hirotake Nakanishi, the President of the Japan Logistic Systems Corporation, remarked that the opening of Logitem Da Nang aimed to mark the 25 years since the Japanese group’s operation in Viet Nam.
He said over recent years his group has recorded numerous remarkable achievements in logistics services. He also believed the city’s logistics sector would gain even more success in the future.
President Nakanishi noted that covering an area of nearly 20,000 m2, the Logitem Da Nang would be a major logistics hub in the central region, and a transit hub for cargo across Viet Nam.
“The newly-opened centre will help to create more job opportunities for local job seekers and promote the city’s economic development in the coming time” he added.

Addressing the event, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh congratulated Logitem Vietnam on opening a logistics centre in the city. This will help the group to fully tap the potential for the development of local logistics sector.
Mr Minh also asked for help from Mr Saturo Takizawa, Chairman of the Japanese Business Association in Da Nang, to appeal for even more Japanese investors to the city in the years ahead.
