Over 7,000 Japanese visitors expected to arrive in the city over upcoming public holidays
Between 27 April and 2 May, the Da Nang International Airport is likely to receive over 7,000 Japanese visitors in total through 26 flights connecting Da Nang with ‘the land of the rising sun’.

Amongst these flights, there will be 16 scheduled non-stop flights from Tokyo and Osaka, and 10 charter flights from Nagoya, Sapporo, Sendai, Niigata, and Fukuoka.
The welcoming of the large number of Japanese visitors to the city is a concrete step of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which has been recently signed by representatives from the Da Nang International Airport and Japan’s Chubu Centrair International Airport.
Under the MoU, the two airports will join their efforts to open more charter non-stop flights between Nagoya and Da Nang starting from 27 April, paving the way for scheduled flights on this air route from early 2020.
In addition, famtrip flights will take off in June and November, whilst the Da Nang- Nagoya charter flights will be launched on the occasion of Japan's ‘Golden Week’ which is slated to take place from late April to mid-August.
