According to the Electricity Viet Nam's Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), its subsidiaries have signed contracts with 407 out of 518 customers who have solar power panels installed on their rooftops in order to buy electricity from them. Amongst them are 105 customers in Da Nang.

As of 18 May, EVNCPC had paid 922.2 million VND for 134 customers in the central region and highlands.

Amongst 13 EVNCPC’s subsidiaries, there are 3 companies having the largest number of projects, the highest installed capacity, and the largest number of payments.

In particular, the Da Nang Power Company has paid around 291 million VND in total for 105 out of 118 customers who had signed contracts with the company.

The Dak Lak Province Power Company has spent a total of about 567 million VND on buying solar power from 19 of 36 customers, whilst the Khanh Hoa Province Power Company has paid 40 million VND for 2 out of 87 customers for buying electricity from them.

In the coming time, EVNCPC will promote the signing of power purchase agreements with the remaining 111 customers, and accelerate the payments for private investors as stated in their contracts.
