From 13 to 17 May, a group of representatives from the Department of Tourism and tourism service providers in Da Nang is jointly conducting tourism promotion activities in some Japanese cities.

As scheduled, the Da Nang visitors have meetings and exchanges with representatives from Japanese travel agencies in Tokyo on Tuesday, Nagoya on Wednesday, and Osaka in Friday.
On Monday, the Da Nang guests had a working session with representatives from the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA).

JATA hosts highly appreciated Da Nang’s Japanese tourist market potential, and underlined a need to open the Central Viet Nam’s representative tourism office in this East Asian country, and to enhance tourism promotion activities here.

In addition, it is necessary to promote the linkage role of the city’s travel agent in Japan for the sake of tourism promotion activities here.

Currently, there are daily direct flights connecting Da Nang with Narita (Tokyo) and Kansai (Osaka). In order to facilitate journeys from Central Japan to Central Viet Nam, the Chubu and Da Nang international airports, in February, entered into an agreement on tourism promotion activities as well as the release of preferential policies applicable to flights from the 2 airports.
