Market price stabilisation for upcoming DIFF
With over 2 weeks to go to the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2019, the Son Tra District authorities have focused on implementing a market price stabilisation programme, encouraging locals to strictly comply with the city’s regulations about commercial civilisation, and ensuring food safety and hygiene for locals and visitors during this international event.

In particular, the An Hai Bac ward authorities have increased their inspections of tourism service providers to ensure effective management of the prices of their accommodation, passenger transport, catering and parking services from now until late June.
Any violations detected will be dealt with in a timely fashion, and heavy fines will be imposed.
The priority has been given to informing local residents about 7 vehicle keeping areas at stabilised prices, as well as about free hotline for locals and visitors to report any violations relating to the unreasonable increases in the prices of goods and services during the DIFF 2019.
Mr Cao Dinh Hai, Chairman of the Nai Hien Dong Ward People’s Committee, said his ward has established 10 groups of 90 members in total to check the implementation of the market price stabilisation.
In addition, a rapid response team with 10 members has been set up to promptly detect and handle violations after receiving complaints from visitors.
Mr Nguyen Thanh Nam, Vice Chairman of the Son Tra District People's Committee, noted between 27 May and 6 July the district authorities would conduct 5 inspections of tourism service providers in the locality, as well as organise trainings courses on food safety and hygiene for 500 accommodation providers and restaurants.
