Vietnamese goods fair runs until 13 May
A fair featuring Vietnamese goods is taking place at the 29 March Square on 2 September street, Da Nang, from 7- 13 May with free admission.
The 7-day fair features a total of over 100 stands owned by 73 businesses operating in Da Nang and other localities nationwide.
Goods on sale include handicrafts, textiles and garments, leather goods and footwear, confectionery, beverages, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
Municipal Fatherland Front Committee Chairwoman Dang Thi Kim Lien remarked that the annual fair aims to facilitate the participating businesses to exchange their trading experiences, and to seek their partners and expand their consumer markets for their products, especially their domestically renowned specialities.
She asked the participating businesses to ensure the clear origin and quality of their goods on sale at the fair, in a bid to prevent the trade in counterfeit, fake and substandard goods from adversely affecting consumers’ interests.
Such a meaningful event also raises the public's awareness about increasing the consumption of high-quality Vietnamese goods in active response to the city’s implementation of the ‘Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods’ campaign.
