Since the start of the year, the city has attracted 2,319 billion VND in domestic investment and over 542.2 million USD worth of FDI capital.
The total investment capital poured into the city in the first half of this year reached 19,924 billion VND, up 3.3% versus the year-ago period.
Business registration certificates were granted to 2,594 new enterprises, branches and representative offices with a combined total registered capital of 12,926 billion VND, up 8.3% and 6.8% in the number of businesses and the amount of investment, respectively, against the same period last year.
In particular, the city leader also urged the Ministry of Planning and Investment, as soon as possible, to issue specific instructions regarding the conduction of a wide and transparent bidding process to select those capable of carrying out the solid waste treatment project in Da Nang in a prompt yet effective manner.
