Important role of Hi-tech Park in promoting the city's growth

On Friday morning, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary cum Head of the municipal National Assembly Members’ Group Truong Quang Nghia, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho, and People’s Council Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung, along with leaders of municipal departments and agencies, paid inspection visits to the construction sites of some large projects in the city.

These projects were the 170 million US$ Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing factory which has been developed by the Universal Alloy Corporation-UAC at the Hi-tech Park, the headquarters of the Authority of Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks, and the Long Hau JSC-developed hi-tech factory cluster.

During his visits to these construction sites, Secretary Nghia hailed construction units for their great efforts in expediting the construction progress in a quickly fashion.

He also highlighted the importance of these projects in promoting the city’s industrial production activities, with a focus on hi-tech industries, thereby boosting the development of support industries.

To date, around 50% of the construction work of the Sunshine aerospace components manufacturing factory has been completed. The project is expected to be put into operation in late November.

Meanwhile, the basic construction of the headquarters of the Authority of Da Nang's Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks has been already finished. The work is scheduled to be completed before 29 March 2020.

However, work has yet to officially start at the Long Hau JSC’s hi-tech factory cluster for lease due to problems relating to the application of new land prices.

During his working session with the Authority of Da Nang's Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks, the Party chief underlined the vital role of the Hi-tech Park in boosting the city’s socio-economic development.
