According to Mr Tran Le Tuan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Da Nang Port Company, under national Decree No 119/2018/ND-CP prescribing electronic invoices for sale of goods and provision of services, all businesses and economic organisations nationwide must switch to using electronic invoices from 1 January, 2020 onwards.

In active response to the Decree, the Da Nang Port has been implementing the issuance of e- invoices which are authenticated by digital signatures at its Finance and Accounting Office.

Besides, POS (point of sale) machines are expected to be placed at the Tien Sa Port.

Accordingly, cards issued by such banks as Vietcombank, BIDV, Vietinbank, Agribank and Techcombank can be accepted for this new cashless payment method.
