Cambodian tourism promoted in city
On Monday afternoon, the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism organised a programme in Da Nang to introduce Cambodian tourism products to local travel agencies, hotels and tour guides.
Also at the event, information relating to the Cambodia Travel Mart (CTM) which will be held from 11 - 13 October was revealed. CTM is one of Cambodia's large and prestigious tourism and travel fairs.
During the event, a spokesperson for the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism informed that the Cambodia Angkor Air would open a direct air route between Da Nang and Phnom Penh with a frequency of 4 flights per week starting from October. The focus will be on connecting tourist destinations between Cambodia and Viet Nam by sea, air and road.
In his remarks at the programme, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tourism Department Nguyen Xuan Binh highlighted the significance of the programme in further strengthening the tourism cooperation between his city and Cambodian localities in the time ahead.
