Ways to attract more international tourists to Viet Nam discussed
On Friday, the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism held a workshop in Da Nang to discuss ways to attract more international visitors to Viet Nam.

Attending the event were Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien, and Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh.
During the event, participants together reviewed the implementation of tourism promotion activities across the country over recent years.
In addition, they were introduced to the trend for international tourist arrivals to Viet Nam in the future, as well as difficulties and challenges facing domestic travel agencies in receiving foreign tourists.
Also, some feasible solutions to attract even more foreign visitors to Viet Nam were presented at the event.
In particular, the focus will be on exploiting the country’s key potential foreign tourist markets, including China, the USA, Russia, and Australia, plus Western European and Southeast Asian nations.
Importance will be attached to creating closer links between national government departments and agencies, airlines, tourism businesses, investors, media agencies, and more.
Also at the event, the ‘Green Tourism - Go Green’ campaign was officially launched by the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism.
The intention of the campaign was to appeal for domestic tourism businesses to join forces with national government departments and agencies to protect tourism environment.
