128,000 billion VND mobilised by credit organisations in 8 months
According to the Da Nang General Statistics Office, an estimated 128,000 billion VND had been mobilised by credit organisations across the city by the end of August, representing an increase of 0.41% against the previous month and 3.92% compared with the same period last year.
Amongst, capital mobilisation in VND by banks in the city hit 124,000 billion VND, accounting for 96.41% of the total, and up by 4.61% in comparison with the same period in the previous year.
As of late August, the total outstanding loans at the city’s banks had reached an estimated 169,000 billion VND, and a rise of 0.49% against July and of 24.32% against 2018. The outstanding loans in VND had climbed by 0.51% to hit 164,000 billion VND against July.
Short-term loans had gone up by 0.35% to 61,000 billion VND, whilst medium and long-term loans had risen by 0.57% to 108,000 billion VND as compared with the previous month.
The interest rates on short-term deposits range from 7% - 10.5% pa, and at the maximum of 6-6.5% pa for firms involved in priority aspects. Meanwhile, the interest rates on medium and long-term deposits fluctuate between 9-11.5% pa, and between 7-10% pa for firms involved in priority aspects.
