City receives over 2,300 cruise ship passengers from Hong Kong, China
Arranged by the Pacific Legend Tourism and Service Company, luxury cruise ship Costa Atlantica, carrying a total of more than 2,300 Hong Kong and Chinese passengers, docked at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Thursday morning.

After getting off the cruise ship, the passengers visited some tourist attractions in Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue Province, along with Hoi An City and My Son Sanctuary, both in Quang Nam Province.
During their stay in the seaside city, these passengers paid visits to the Trung Vuong Theatre, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Da Nang Cathedral, and the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre. They were also taken to the Con and Han markets, BigC Mall and Lotte Mart for shopping.
At 7.00pm on the same day, the ship left the city for other destinations.
A representative from the Pacific Legend Tourism and Service Company said since early September, the city’s cruise tourism sector has entered its peak season.
During this month, the city is likely to welcome about 6 cruise ship arrivals, carrying a combined total of about 8,600 international passengers.
