Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, a total of 7 billion VND from the city budget will go to the upgrade of the intersections of Cach Mang Thang Tam-Le Thanh Nghi, and Thang Long-the western approach road to Hoa Xuan Bridge-a road connecting Thang Long with Cach Mang Thang Tam.

Traffic congestions usually occur at these intersections during rush hours.

The project’s developer is the municipal Department of Planning and Investment, whilst the city’s Management Board of Transport Infrastructure Construction and Maintenance Projects will manage the upgrade work.

Work is slated to start on the upgrade by late this year.

The municipal administration has also given the green light to the construction of a 6 billion VND anti-landslide embankment system along a bank of the Cam Le and Cau Do rivers which flow through Tay An Village, Hoa Chau Commune, Hoa Vang District.

The implementation work is expected to be conducted over the 2019 – 2020 period.

The municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will be in charge of developing and managing the project.
