Arranged by the Da Nang branch of the Saigontourist travel agency, luxury cruise ship World Dream, carrying a total of 3,654 Hong Kong and Chinese passengers, on Tuesday berthed at Da Nang-based Tien Sa Port.

During their short stay in Da Nang, some of the passengers were taken on organised tours to popular such popular attractions as the Museum of Da Nang, the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, and the Museum of Da Nang, plus went shopping at traditional markets and supermarkets across the city.

In the afternoon of the same day, the ship left the city for other destinations.

According to latest figures released by the municipal Department of Tourism, by late this month, Da Nang is likely to have welcomed a combined total of 13,650 from 12 cruise ship arrivals.
