Over 47 billion VND for building anti-landslide embankment systems along Yen and Vinh Dien rivers
The Da Nang authorities have recently given the green light to spend over 47 billion VND from the city’s budget on building anti-landslide embankment systems along banks of the Yen and Vinh Dien rivers.
Accordingly, an anti-landslide embankment system will be constructed along banks of a 2,204m-long section of the Yen River which flows through the La Chau Village in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Khuong Commune, and the An Trach and Bac An villages in the district’s Hoa Tien Commune.
The purpose of the system is to protect public works and road, ensure the safety of local residents, and actively prevent floods and storms.
Meanwhile, another system will be built along the left bank of a 322m-long section of the Vinh Dien River into the downstream of the Tu Cau Bridge in the Giang Nam 2 Village, Hoa Phuoc Commune, Hoa Vang District.
The construction work is expected to be implemented over the 2019 - 2020 period.
