Growing demand for warm clothes due to cold weather
After the weather has turned a bit chilly in parts of the south-central region of Viet Nam, including Da Nang, the sale of winter clothes in these localities has been gaining momentum.

Most recently, fashion shops across Da Nang have witnessed a growing number of shoppers to buy winter clothes.
In particular, the Art Men fashion shop at 164 Le Duan has been crowded with shoppers in recent days.
A shop manager said winter jackets, sweaters, coats and leather jackets in various colours and designs are available at his shop, and their prices range between 200,000 VND and 700,000 VND each. He added that over the past week, an average of between 20 and 40 warm products of all kinds have been sold.
According to weather forecast, this year’s winter weather is predicted to be colder than last year’s. Therefore, local residents rush to buy such warm products as woolen socks, sweaters, coats, jackets, and pullovers.
Some fashion shops on Trieu Nu Vuong Street have been crowded with shoppers over recent days.
Mr Tran Hoang Hai residing in Son Tra District said these shops on Trieu Nu Vuong Street have boasted abundance of warm clothes at reasonable prices.
In addition, all kinds of wears and accessories, including gloves, woolen hats, and mufflers are seen hanging at fashion shops in the city to increase the number of their shoppers.
According to the latest survey, the city has seen a slight rise in the prices of various types of warm products due to the growing demand from local residents.
Specifically, mufflers made from such various materials as cloth, wool and silk are on sale at the prices of between 70,000 VND and 250,000 VND each. Meanwhile, wool gloves are priced from 35,000 VND to 120,000 VND each.
