The Online Friday 2019, Viet Nam’s biggest annual online shopping day held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, took place for 24 hours on Friday, 6 December, in Ha Noi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the 6^th year in a row the event has been organised nationwide, with the intention of increasing public awareness of e-commerce, and to facilitate consumers to enjoy big discount on high-quality products.

This year's event saw the participation of such reputable e-commerce platforms as Shopee, Tiki, Sendo, Voso, and Sanhangre, along with prestigious businesses and distributors nationwide.

Visitors at the ongoing Digital and E-Commerce Experience Week

During the one-day online shopping day, retailers offered their shoppers up to 70% off 50,000 products from more than 1,000 famous brand names. Included were goods for Tet, household appliances, technology products, cosmetics, clothes and fashion items, plus airline tickets, and books. In addition to the Online Friday 2019 event, residents and visitors in Da Nang have the opportunity to buy various on-sale products at the Digital and E-Commerce Experience Week which is taking place at the park near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge from 6 - 8 December.
