On Thursday morning, two luxury cruise ships MS Westerdam and MS The World, carrying a combined total of 2,250 passengers, berthed at the Tien Sa Port in Da Nang.

In particular, 1,250 European passengers were onboard the MS Westerdam cruise ship, whilst the remaining 1,000 Hong Kong and Chinese ones were onboard the MS The World.

During their one-day stay in the city, the foreigners visited popular attractions which were imbued with local cultural identity such as the Sun World Ba Na Hill, the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, and the Museum of Da Nang. In addition, they went shopping at the Con and Han markets, and local supermarkets.

In the afternoon of the same day, these ships left the city for other destinations.
