The move has clearly demonstrated the city’s great efforts in attracting new investment inflows, especially foreign direct investment (FDI), thereby significantly helping to promote the economic growth.

In order to effectively implement the ‘2020: The Year of Promoting Investment Attraction’ landmark campaign, more preferential policies for both domestic and foreign investors will be issued, and greater efforts will be made to facilitate them to complete their investment procedures as soon as possible.

Also, heed will be paid to accelerating the construction of new industrial clusters in the city, and helping small and medium-sized enterprises to increase their competitiveness.

As for the tourism industry, importance will be attached to developing new and special tourism products such as public parks and nighttime entertainment areas in a bid to increase tourist arrivals in the city.

Next year, various tourism promotion activities will be organised at both home and abroad, with a focus on such potential international tourist markets as Japan, South Korea, the USA, and European countries.

Special attention will be paid to completing necessary procedures for the construction of projects which were granted with investment policy decisions and investment permits by the municipal government at the 2nd Spring Dialogue in the city in March.

Included are the Da Nang Bay Information Technology Park on Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, and a 22.59 ha complex of services for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival in Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An Ward.

Greater efforts will be made to facilitate businesses to access preferential-interest-rate loans, seek ODA capital for large-scale projects, and boost the bilateral ties between Da Nang and other localities and organisations worldwide.
