In particular, after a post-Tet informal meeting, more than 3,500 employees of the FPT Software Da Nang Company resumed their normal work. Many of the company’s staff members still continued to work at their desks during the lunch time in order to ensure on-schedule progress of their projects.
The company’s Director Nguyen Tuan Phuong said his company earned 1.2 trillion VND in revenue in 2019, and this figure is expected to increase by 30% in 2020.
He added his company has recently become involved in conducting research into data analysis and low code, and opening up new business opportunities in these aspects.
Specially, in last December, AkaBot - a robotic process automation (RPA) solution developed by FPT Software Corporation of Viet Nam - was named in the Top 30 RPA products in the world by the website https://rpahack.com/ of Japan.
Recently, FPT Software has signed a five-year copyright licensing contract worth 6.5 million USD with a Japanese company, enabling the use of its RPA platform akaBot to develop an innovative staffing solution for the client.
Also in 2019, the FPT Software Da Nang Company has focused on improving the living conditions of their employees. In particular, the company facilitated their employees to access loans at preferential rates in order to buy apartments at the FPT Plaza.
“In 2020, FPT Software Da Nang will complete the construction of the 2nd phase of FPT Complex in Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District which is expected to provide additional 3,000 workplaces for the company” Director Phuong remarked.
An enthusiastic working atmosphere was seen at the city-based Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Engineering Company |
Also on Thursday, an enthusiastic working atmosphere was seen at the Da Nang Post Office.
The Director of the Office, Mrs Nguyen Thi Khanh Nga, said some of her office’s units had almost worked in Tet.
“Due to growing concern over the spread of coronavirus during the Tet holiday, the KT 1 unit which specialises in delivering documents of the Party and State had to work continuously from Lunar New Year's Eve until today in a bid to ensure the timely transfer of the documents between the national and the city governments”, Mrs Nga noted.
Director Nga underscored that, on 30 January, 100% of post offices citywide resumed their normal operations.
Meanwhile, many production and trading companies have set goals of upholding their achievements and making greater efforts to gain even more success this year.
Specifically, the Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Engineering Company plans to raise its revenue by 50%, and the Dai Thanh Dat Investment and Construction JSC by between 20% and 30% in all targets against last year.
Meanwhile, many large firms operating in the city will resume their normal operations on 3 February (the 10th day of the 1st lunar month). The reason is that these businesses still have some unsold products, and the number of orders in the beginning of the Lunar New Year is still modest.
