Work to start on Hoa Phuoc agricultural wholesale market project in 3rd quarter
According to a spokesperson for the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, the construction of an agricultural wholesale market will begin in the third quarter of this year in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phuoc Commune.
The new 309,299 m2 market will cost 817 billion VND in total. Of this, around 122 billion VND will be funded by the State budget, whilst the remainder will come from the public-private partnership (PPP) investment source.
The market will feature selling areas, container parking areas, warehouses, market management offices, and food safety and hygiene inspection stations.
Once fully operational, the market will become the largest of its kind in the central region and highlands. It will be a place for transshipment of goods between the north and the south regions of Viet Nam.
