The luxurious 6-star Silver Spirit docked at the Tien Sa Port in Da Nang on Tuesday, carrying a total of 199 passengers from European countries to the city.

As the cruise ship arrived in the Port, all passengers onboard had their body temperature checked by staff of the municipal Centre for Disease Control. As a result, no cases of fever or signs of health problems were recorded.

During their ongoing stay in Da Nang, the European passengers are taken on organised tours to some of the city’s popular attractions, and to Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City.

The European visitors have spent an overnight stay in the city. As scheduled, the ship will leave the city for the Chan May Port in Thua Thien Hue Province this afternoon, 19 February.

Amid coronavirus fears, Da Nang remains a safe destination for foreign travellers, including those from European countries.
