According to the Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment, between 1 and 22 January, the municipal authorities granted investment licences to 14 FDI projects, with a total newly-registered capital of over 1.686 million USD. The majority of these projects involve in such aspects as drinking and eating service, information technology, and foreign language training.

In addition, the city is planning to implement its investment promotion programme in 2020. Greater efforts are being made to accelerating the granting of investment  license to a number of projects at the upcoming ‘Talk of Spring’ programme 2020.

Last year, Da Nang attracted a total of 690.76 million USD from FDI projects. In particular, there were 132 newly-registered projects totalling over 438.042 million USD, whilst the existing 16 FDI projects raised their capital with a total additional sum of 117.38 million USD. The total registered investment capital in 2019 was 1.9 times higher than 2018’s figure.
