Lao Airlines delays new Da Nang-Vientiane air service due to coronavirus fears

The Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre announced on Tuesday that the Lao Airlines has delayed its new a non-stop service between Da Nang and Vientiane capital of Laos due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus.

 

The airline will release its new flight schedule and join forces with Da Nang to conduct tourism marketing campaigns in both Laos and Vietnamese central city when the coronavirus epidemic is under control.

New non-stop service between Da Nang and Vientiane was scheduled to be launched on 29 March.

The national air carrier of Laos plans to operate three flights per week on the Da Nang-Vientiane route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, using 70-seater ATR-72 aircraft.

The flight QV318 will depart from Vientiane at 11.10am and land at Da Nang International Airport at 12.50pm. Meanwhile, the return flight QV319 will take off at 1.50pm from Da Nang, and arrive in Vientiane at 3.30pm.
