Food and drink service providers allowed to operate but only for takeaways and deliveries
The Da Nang authorities announced on Wednesday evening that food and drink service providers in the city will be allowed to operate, but only to offer their takeaway and delivery services starting from midnight on 16 April.
The announcement came after the city has been named amongst 12 Vietnamese localities at a high risk for coronavirus spread having the social distancing period extended to 22 April under the Directive No 16 issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Owners of food and drink stores, food delivers, and takeaway customers, must strictly follow coronavirus social distancing rules, including wearing face masks and keeping a safe distance from one another.
Any service providers who fail to comply with Covid-19 prevention and control regulations, and social distancing measures, will be forced to shut down.
Such on-demand food delivery service providers as NOW and Grab must strictly implement coronavirus prevention and control measures.
