Only 30% of inter-provincial passenger coaches are allowed to resume their operations to transport passengers to Vietnamese localities classified at medium-risk of Covid-19 infection. 50 % of these vehicles will be used to travel to provinces and cities nationwide at low-risk of virus infection.
Tourist coaches, contract cars and taxis will be allowed to operate starting from 23 April, but they are required to carry half of their designed capacity. All passengers must wear face masks, clean their hands before getting on/off vehicles, and keep a safe distance from others.
Contract cars, tourist coaches and taxis in the city are only allowed to transport passengers to Vietnamese localities in the low-risk group of infections. Drivers and driving assistants must make their passenger lists on their vehicles, and guide them to complete their mandatory health declarations following the Vietnamese Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
However, the city has extended the suspension of inland waterway passenger services, intra-city buses, and inter-provincial buses on Da Nang - Quang Nam Province, and Da Nang-Thua Thien Hue Province routes.
Mobile stations to check vehicle load have operation halted until 30 April.
