Around 15 billion VND for upgrading power grids at western end of Tran Thi Ly Bridge
The Da Nang Power Company will spend around 15 billion VND into the upgrade and development of medium- and low-voltage power grids at the western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge. The intention is to ensure secure electricity supplies for local residents during and after the implementation of the traffic re-arrangement project at the western end of the bridge.
The development of temporary power system will cost more than 3 billion VND, and it is expected to be completed in May.
The focus will be on upgrading 3.15 kilometres of medium-voltage underground power cables and 0.7 kilometres of overhead medium-voltage power transmission lines. Also, 6 closed medium-voltage switching stations will be built, and more than 1.3 kilometres of 0.4 kV low-voltage power transmission lines will be developed.
The remaining 12 billion VND will be used for upgrading medium- and low-voltage power grids.
