During the 3-month period, the Port generated 224 billion VND in sales and service revenue. Also, it earned 71 billion VND in profits from its business activities, and around 57 billion VND in post-tax profits, up 36.86% compared with same period last year.
The Port's three-month positive results are mainly because of a 25.1% rise in the total volume of cargo transported through the Port, compared to the same period last year. In particular, the volume of container cargo transported through the port went up by more than 33%, whilst the revenue from sales of goods and services increased by 30.23% against 2019.
The Da Nang Port has set a target for the year 2020 for its revenue of 855 billion VND, including 240 billion VND in profits.
