Tourist arrivals in the city down by 96.3% over national holidays

The Da Nang Department of Tourism’s statistics show that visitor arrivals to the city over the recent 4-day public holidays decreased by 96.3% against the same period last year to stand at 14,224. Around 610 of them were foreigners, down by 99.5% whilst the remaining 13,614 were domestic visitors, a decrease of 94.8%.

Currently, about 150 out of 968 accommodation establishments in the city are resuming their services. In which, 50 establishments reopened straight after the national government eased social distancing measures on 23 April.

During the holidays, the guest numbers staying at local accommodation establishments dropped by 95% against 2019 to reach only 3,989.  The international guest numbers were 539, a decline of 99.3% whilst the remaining 3,450 were domestic guests, down by 95.9%.
