Four 'made-in-Da Nang' products have been recognised as Da Nang's 'Best Commercial Products in 2019' by the Da Nang government. 

They are Nam O-Huong Lang Co fish sauce made by Hong Huong company, ‘banh kho me’ (dried sesame seed cakes) by Ms Lieu family-owned establishment, Binh Minh fish sauce made by the namesake cooperative and MaYaCa coffee.

The recognised products are required to reflect the city’s special characteristics, for instance, being associated with historical, cultural and relic sites, and use locally-originated specific materials.

Also, their production establishments were established at least 2 years prior to the date of entry submissions for selection.

In particular, the honoured products are highly recommended to be preferred by locals and both domestic and foreign tourists, and also importantly, they must be environmentally friendly and export-oriented.

The recognition of these products is valid for 5 years during which the making establishments are permitted to promote the images and products on the city’s web portals and municipal agencies’ official websites.

Another incentive is to access preferential loans from Da Nang’s financial sources, and have the chance to participate in domestic and international trade promotion activities.
