Drastic measures strictly put in place in Da Nang's IPs amid new wave of Covid-19
Amid new wave of Covid-19, all companies operating in 6 industrial park (IPs) in Da Nang have put in place drastic measures in a prompt fashion to fulfil their ‘ dual goals’ of Covid-19 pandemic containment and production maintenance.

To ensure ultimate safety at workplace, in the wake of the municipal government-mandated social distancing restrictions, Daiwa Vietnam Co., Ltd., located on Street No 5, Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District, has reintroduced drastic measures to combat the new coronavirus.
At about 6:00 am daily, employees wearing face coverings queue for having their body temperatures measured and disinfecting their hands before entering their workplace. Besides, all the staff members are required to maintain a 2 metre distance from others at both workplaces and at dining areas.
In a similar move,businesses operating in the Hoa Cam IP have taken more measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
According to Mr Nguyen Vu Khoa Nguyen, the Administration Manager of Fujikura Automotive Vietnam Co., Ltd., located on Street No. 2, Hoa Cam IP, his company has regularly conducted body temperature measurements for its staff before entering their manufacturing facilities.
Anyone having the body temperature of above 37.5 degrees Celsius will be off work and recommended to visit the nearest medical centre for examination.
Also, cardboard partitions have been set up on dining tables to ensure the safe distance among workers and maintain their hygiene when eating and drinking.
In the Vina Kad company locatd in the expanded Hoa Khanh IP, Lien Chieu District, new measures to ensure safety at work have received active response and strict compliance from Vina Kad's staff.
Importance is attached to keeping the workplaces clean and hygienic, wiping surfaces, desks and tables for instance, and office objects with disinfectant regularly.
Also, regularly-refilled sanitizing hand rub dispensers are put in prominent places around the company.
Face masks and paper tissues are available at the workplace, for those who develop a runny nose or cough at work, along with closed bins for hygienically disposing of them.
Besides, the Trade Union organisations at businesses have ensured sufficient supplies of face masks and alcohol-based hand sanitizer for workers at the workplace to prevent Cocid-19 transmission.
Face-to-face meetings or event are now highly recommended to be replaced by teleconference or online events to prevent possible infections.
