Ha Noi-HCMC train service to be suspended from 1 Aug amid fresh outbreak

The State-owned Vietnam Railways Corporation announced on Wednesday evening that it will temporarily suspend the operation of a pair of daily train SE11/12 running between Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) from 1 August amid a fresh bout of Covid-19 outbreak in Viet Nam.
Advance tickets will now be refundable without any admin fee or will be changed to another passenger trains.
Anyone holding an advance ticket for SE12 train will travel on the SE6 train departing in Ho Chi City at 8.40am on the same day. Meanwhile, those holding advance tickets for SE11 train will travel on the SE9 train departing in Ha Noi at 2.25pm on the same day.
