As of 15 July, 3,606 billion VND (15 million USD) have been allocated from Da Nang's public investment fund to cary out key projects, representing 29.2% of the city’s target set for this year.

Work started on a west ring road in June

The Da Nang government has prioritised public investment in cultural and infrastructure projects.

The focus has been on accelerating site clearance work for such projects as the upgrade of the DT 601 route, the north-west traffic axis No 1, a west ring road, the Hoa Phu - Hoa Ninh inter-communal route, a section of a road between its intersections with Ho Ngoc Lam and Truong Dinh streets, and another section of a road between its intersections with Le Huu Trac and Nguyen Van Thoai streets.

In addition, special attention has been paid to preparation of tenders and contractor selection for some key projects to mark the 75^th National Day and the 22^nd Congress of the Da Nang Party Committee.

These projects include a modern garbage transfer station on Le Thanh Nghi Street, the 2^nd stage of the leachate treatment plant in the Khanh Son landfill, the 2^nd stage of the Biotechnology Centre associated with a facility for plant tissue culture, the expansion of the existing APEC Park, the upgrade of the existing headquarters of the municipal People’s Council at 42 Bach Dang into new Museum of Da Nang, the 1^st stage of the Software Park No 2, the wastewater collection system along a section of Nguyen Tat Thanh route, and the 1^st stage of the Son Tra and Cam Le medical stations.
