Da Nang's IPs take proactive measures to protect employees from Covid-19
The Da Nang Authority of the Hi-tech Park and Industrial Parks (IPs) is continuing with proactive precautions in an attempt to prevent employees from potential exposure to the deadly Covid-19.

The Authority is joining its prompt efforts with the Da Nang Disease Control Centre and other relevant local agencies to trace close contacts of people carrying the coronavirus recently confirmed in IPs.
Focus is on encouraging those have links to the Covid-19 patients to make their medical declarations and get self-isolated at home to ensure safety for themselves and others.
The spraying of disinfectant has already carried out at companies where the Covid-19-catching employees had worked.
Currently, more than 77,000 people are employed at the Hi-tech Park and other IPs across Da Nang.
Amid a new wave of coronavirus infections, the Authority is urging all companies operating in Da Nang's IPs to quickly and strictly take proactive infection prevention and control measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Their employees are required to queue for having their body temperatures measured and disinfecting their hands before entering their workplace. All of them are asked to wear face coverings at all times while in the workplace.
Besides, all the staff members are required to maintain a 2 metre distance from others at both workplaces and at dining areas in line with the social distancing mandates.
Importance is also attached to keeping the workplaces clean and hygienic, and increasing the frequency of cleaning commonly-touched surfaces such as desks and tables for instance, and other office objects with disinfectant.
Also, regularly-refilled sanitizing hand rub dispensers are put in prominent places around companies in the IPs.
Meanwhile, many businesses have taken the initiative to reschedule work shifts and meal timing to prevent overcrowding, and set up safety screens at dining tables to enforce the city's social distancing rules..
Anyone who appears to have symptoms upon arrival at work or who become sick during the day should immediately be separated from other employees right away, and taken to hospital for monitoring their health and treatment.
All employees working in the IPs are highly recommend to install Bluezone, a Bluetooth-based app that helps determine if a person has come into contact with a Covid-19 patient, and the nCOVI app for health declaration and monitoring.
