‘Made in Viet Nam’ Digital Technology Product Awards

The first-ever ‘Made in Viet Nam’ Digital Technology Product Awards have been launched in Viet Nam.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the national-level awards aim to seek Viet Nam's best digital technology products that will be key pillars to drive rapid digital transformation of Viet Nam's government and its economic activities.

The awards are open to businesses from all sectors that have been established in accordance with Vietnamese laws.

Entries which are required to be designed and developed in Viet Nam will have to demonstrate the use of technology to overcome a defined problem facing the country.  

There are five categories you can enter, namely digital platforms, digital products, digital solutions, the narrowing of the digital gap, and potential digital products.

All entries must be submitted online at https://makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn/ between 20 August and 20 October.

Entrants will have the opportunity to meet with potential investors and approach to international markets.

Prize-winning products and solutions will have the right to use the brand identity of “Made in Viet Nam” and receive great consultancy and support from relevant agencies to commercialise their products and solutions.

Viet Solutions 2020

The Ministry of Information and Communication and the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group have recently launched a contest to seek best solutions to aid Viet Nam government on its journey to digital transformation, called Viet Solutions 2020.

The competition can be entered by individuals or in teams around the world. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over to enter the competition. 

The competition has several categories to choose from, including games, multimedia, social media, solutions and applications in different sectors such as health care, education, finance, banking, agriculture, transport, logistics, energy, natural resources and environment, and industry.

All entries must be submitted online at http://vietsolutions.net.vn/ before the closing date of 20 September.

The 10 finalists will attend a training course on financial management and marketing skills, and will have the chance to meet with potential partners, between 21 September and 10 October.

The total prize value will be up to 350 million VND and first-prize winner will be awarded 200 million VND.
